Customer Service Representative

  • Answering and directing calls
  • Assisting customers by phone and at the front counter
  • Help resolve customer complaints, questions, or concerns
  • Processing payments (by phone and by mail)
  • Filing
  • Scanning
  • Maintaining customer accounts
  • Assisting with billing
  • Past due bill collections
  • Light cleaning
  • Misc. duties as assigned

Our District serves almost 5000 patrons, and customer service is top priority. Phone etiquette is important and will be the focus throughout your day. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with others as well as on your own. You must be organized, capable of multi-tasking efficiently, and able to prioritize meeting/maintaining deadlines each month. The right person should be dependable, friendly, outgoing, and have a positive attitude.

**Our filing system and billing process will require standing, reaching, or bending to accomplish the tasks.

  • Ten key calculator experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years office experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience required.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred

Salary: $16.00-17.00/hr depending on experience

 

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
