Miami County Rural Water District No. 2 is aware of the water emergency recently issued by the City of Louisburg.
At this time, Miami #2’s water system is NOT affected. Our water treatment plant and distribution system are operating normally, and we have adequate supply and pressure throughout our service area and are supplying water to City of Paola and City of Louisburg through our emergency interconnects.
Customers served by Miami #2 do not need to take any action related to the City of Louisburg’s emergency notice.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if anything changes.
